Lignocellulosic wastes
Natural resources are being exhausted by the greater demand of their services and insufficient measures for their preservation. Use of waste components of agriculture as value-added products is of great relevance to preserve environment and biodiversity, avoiding consumption of natural resources, soil degradation and competition for land use.
Project concept
The main objective of the LIGNOFOOD project is to offer a competitive solution to the participating SMEs by developing a biotechnological process of production of healthy ingredients from natural resources.
